Rustic Bohemian Positano Elopement

Positano, a boutique chic town on the Amalfi Coast. Framed by zig-zagged streets lined with boutique shops and characterised by it’s pastel coloured rooftops: a stunning wedding location. The perfect backdrop for this bohemian elopement.

Palazzo Murat, one of Positano’s luxury Hotels, was were the preparations got under way. The Groom had personalised cufflinks made up and it was touching to see his Father help him get ready.

Meanwhile the Bride got ready with her Mum and Mother in Law to be.

The first look moment was at the Hotel – carefully orchestrated by the talented Gianni Di Natale. They strolled into Postiano where we had arranged a romantic ride on a Gozzo – the traditional wooden boat famous on the Amalfi Coast. It was a great opportunity, not only to experience the Coastline from the sea, but also for some wonderful location shots.

Erin & Nico wanted to have a legal ceremony – meaning that it had legal validity back home in New York. In Positano, civil ceremonies take place on the Town Hall Terrace – a platform perched high and overlooking the sea and cliffs. The couple wanted a burnt orange, deep red & maroon colour palette, with a wild rustic touch. The florist Franco di Bianco captured this perfectly with the floral arrangements for the day.

The finished off the celebrations with a table on the Terrace of one of Positano’s finest Restaurants – the Michelin Starred La Sponda.
